Academy Teams

{See the bottom of page for Registration Forms}

For players 9 years through 15.  The Academy Level is for the more serious player or the player that wishes to continue playing in a more competitive environment. One of our goals is to help prepare these Academy Players for a much higher level of competitive soccer while still enjoying the sport.

These players will be trained according to their age/sex. All Academy players will be trained twice a week, except for the U-13 -U15 Academy Players, they will be trained 2-3 times a week (depending on the week).  We will offer a speed and conditioning program for all Academy Players at least once a week. We plan on playing many practice games against local club teams. When we are not playing against these club teams then we will be playing against teams within the Academy.

The focus here will be development…both skills and tactics of each player. We are NOT interested in the wins or loses….We are only interested in how well they compete and how well they perform with the skills they have been taught.

This tier of players will basically be just like any club team….training twice a week (or more) while also getting speed & conditioning training on a separate day from their regular training days in most cases.

We will bring in a keeper trainer once a week to work with all the keepers.

We will attempt to make full Academy teams for each age bracket (U-10, U-11, U-12, U13, U-14 and U-15) both boys and girls.

We will have some of these teams play in regular club (US Youth Soccer sanctioned) tournaments….possibly 3-5 in a season.  These Academy Players need to compete at a high level and playing in these tournaments can satisfy that urge for top competition while playing against other programs, other than just in a practice game. It’s important to keep their competitive drive flowing.

The registration cost is projected to be a total of $695 for an entire season (August through March).  This cost will include the uniforms, all training fees (except for private lessons), ref fees, fields, lights, secondary insurance and game fees (except tournament fees).

We plan on getting most/all of our tournaments paid for through fundraising or sponsorships.  If not, there may be some additional cost for the tournaments during the season but NOT too much.

These players will have the opportunity to meet and be coached by some college coaches and U.S. National Team Members when we bring them in for the College Prep Players Workshops. This will help our Academy Players receive great coaching at the highest level possible and they will also receive some great exposure to some of the best college coaches in the country.
